English Teacher

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic educational institution and engage students in the exciting journey of language development. Responsibilities:

2. Lesson Planning: Develop well-structured lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities, utilizing a variety of teaching techniques to maintain student interest and participation.
3. Effective Teaching: Deliver interactive and effective lessons that stimulate critical thinking, encourage communication, and promote a love for English language and literature.
4. Language Skills Enhancement: Focus on enhancing students’ reading comprehension, writing proficiency, spelling, grammar, and vocabulary skills through targeted exercises and activities.
5. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to gauge students’ progress and understanding of the curriculum. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth.
6. Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and active participation among students.
7. Individualized Support: Identify and address the individual learning needs of students, providing additional assistance and resources to students who require extra support.
8. Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding students’ progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
9. Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest educational trends, teaching methodologies, and resources in the field of English language teaching. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
10. Extracurricular Activities: Organize and participate in language-related extracurricular activities, such as storytelling sessions, debates, language clubs, and writing competitions.
11. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, staff members, and school management to contribute to the overall development of the institution and ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or credentials.
• Proven experience in teaching English to students in grades 4-5.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance learning.
